Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, with an amazing balcony overlooking the palm garden and valley. The service was top-notch, the location felt like a hidden gem in Death Valley, and the dining experience, although a bit limited, still offered some delightful homemade sweets. Overall, a lovely retreat away from it all.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and quiet with a balcony overlooking the palm garden, but there was a disappointment with a faulty room. The service was exceptional, with very friendly and helpful staff, making my longer stay more enjoyable. The location inside the Death Valley National Park was understandably very remote but offered access to amazing hiking spots. The dining experience was a mix of fine choices and some expensive options. The facilities were well-equipped, adding to the overall convenience of the stay.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with somewhat small rooms that need renovation, but they still look nice. However, the terrace provides a lovely spot for stargazing. The service was a hit or miss, with missing information and no apologies at times, but the staff was always extremely helpful and pleasant. The location is a standout inside the park, delivering a magical feel in the desert surroundings. The dining options ranged from passable to awful and pricey, with some tasty dishes amidst disappointments.
The hotel was very comfortable and well-appointed, but the lack of a proper trash can in the small kitchen was a downside. Being below the main building provided a unique stay experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I was assigned wasn't ideal, being next to the elevator and stairs with views of employee and maintenance areas, but it did open up to a terrace overlooking the beautiful swimming pool and the stunning Panamint Mountains. The room itself was very nice and impeccably clean.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, though comfortable, had an unpleasant odor due to a clogged sewage pipe. The location was nice, with a balcony overlooking the gardens and road, but the assigned room placement wasn't ideal. The service was friendly and accommodating, although sometimes seemed stretched.
